Full-Time | September Start | Long-Term Role

Are you a qualified and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for your next role this September?

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a supportive primary school in the Reddish area of Stockport, who are looking to appoint a HLTA to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term position, ideal for a confident practitioner with a Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) and a proven ability to lead whole-class learning.

The Role:

Starting September 2025

Covering classes across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 when teachers are absent or attending training

Supporting teaching and learning alongside classroom teachers

Contributing to planning and delivering high-quality lessons

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold a Level 4 HLTA qualification (or equivalent)

Have experience covering whole classes in a primary school setting

Be confident managing behaviour and delivering engaging lessons

Be proactive, flexible, and passionate about supporting pupils' development
