Behaviour Mentor:
Prospero Teaching are currently working with a SEN provision in the Oldham area, to recruit experienced behaviour mentors for a September start.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils and have a long-term, positive impact on their lives, progress and development.
The Role:
Providing 1-1 and group support to pupils with SEN/SEMH
Building rapport and positive relationships with pupils to help them engage with their learning and make progress both academically and as young people
Collaborating with other staff members and external agencies to best support development
Assisting with both learning and vocational activities, on and off sitePosition Details:
Location: Oldham
Position: Behaviour Mentor
Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri
Type of Work: Temporary
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: £100 per day, depending on experience
Start date: September start
End date: Ongoing, Long-termExperience, Training & Qualifications:
Supporting Teaching and Learning, or Childcare based qualification is highly desirable
Experience supporting SEN/SEMH
Resilient, proactive and positive nature
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional referencesOTHER
