Job Title: TIG Welder
Location: Stevenage
40 hours per week plus overtime

Pay: £16.00 – £18.00 per hour PAYE Depending on experience

PERMANENT - IMMEDIATE START

We’re hiring on behalf of a well-established company in Stevenage, looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join their team for a short-term project. If you're confident in TIG and MIG welding techniques and enjoy hands-on fabrication work, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Welding & Fabrication: Perform high-quality TIG and MIG welding on mild and stainless steel components.

* Technical Drawings: Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical specs to ensure accurate builds.

* Layout & Prep: Measure, cut, bend, and assemble steel parts with precision before welding.

* Hands-On Work: Build and fabricate components for a variety of applications—no two days are the same.

What We’re Looking For

* Experience: 3+ years in a similar TIG/MIG welding and fabrication role.

* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding (or equivalent).

* Skillset: Strong understanding of welding best practices and technical fabrication.

* Team Fit: Reliable, proactive, and able to work well with others in a close-knit team environment.
