The Role

Smurfit Westrock Aldershot (Beacon) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Production Operator, to join our dynamic Production department. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will work collaboratively with other shift-based operators to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our production processes.

Produce and pack quality products off the machines, promptly addressing any concerns.

Follow health and safety best practices to prevent injury to yourself and co-workers.

Report all safety-related incidents and concerns in a timely manner.

Ensure compliance with PPE, SSoW, Quality Standards, and Housekeeping standards.

Support Shift Supervisors and other Production Operators in delivering the daily production plan.

Work constructively with co-workers and the wider team to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, waste, and machine efficiency.

Demonstrate an open, professional, and positive culture on your shift.

Key Skills & Knowledge:

Strong commitment to working safely.

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Good attendance records and excellent work ethic.

Ability to demonstrate a positive safety culture.

Experience working towards tight production deadlines without compromising safety and quality.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to identify and act upon process improvement opportunities.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and SMED techniques is an advantage.

Current forklift truck license is highly advantageous.
