Refrigeration Engineer
Location: North London & Hertfordshire
Salary: Up to £44,436 per annum (depending on experience)

We’re looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join an award-winning FM Provider, supporting a range of multi-site clients, including major supermarkets and retail environments. If you're ready for your next challenge and thrive in a mobile, hands-on role—this could be the perfect fit.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our field engineering team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring refrigeration systems across client sites in your area are well maintained, operating efficiently, and compliant with all safety standards. Your day-to-day work will involve:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, and reactive repairs

Diagnosing faults and delivering timely, effective solutions

*

Providing excellent customer service while working independently across different sites

*

Managing your own schedule and workload efficiently

*

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health & safety procedures

You’ll be supported by a dedicated team and provided with the tools and technology to do your job effectively, including a company van, smartphone, and all necessary PPE and equipment.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a refrigeration engineer, ideally within the retail or FM sector

*

F-Gas certification (2079)

*

Full, valid UK driving licence

*

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

*

Excellent time management and a proactive attitude

Overtime: Paid at time and a half – with average earnings of around £12,000 per year
