We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a long-term Structures project based in Chelmsford, Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major scheme with a strong pipeline of work.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out for structural elements including RC works, steelwork, and associated civil packages.

*

Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications and health & safety regulations.

*

Managing quality assurance and completing site documentation including ITPs and site diaries.

*

Liaising with subcontractors and ensuring coordination on-site.

*

Supporting the site management team with technical input and progress updates.

Requirements:

*

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer on civil or structural projects.

*

Proficient in using Total Station and GPS equipment for setting out.

*

Solid understanding of reinforced concrete and structural steelwork.

*

CSCS Card (essential).

*

SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred).

*

Right to work in the UK.

Contract Details:

Start: Immediate or ASAP

Duration: 12 months

*

Rate: £350 - £400 per day
