Daley Recruitment are recruiting a Transport Supervisor to oversee our clients transport operation at night. Our client based in Park Royal is a supplier of gourmet food products using temperature controlled vehicles with multiple hubs across the UK.

The Role will be to complete and set up deliveries to the hubs on a daily basis, ensuring all items are picked and loaded correctly working alongside the warehouse team. You will have overseeing responsibilities, including route planning, debriefing drivers and dealing with any compliance issues.

Key Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure routes are planned within weight limits, proactively manage day to day routing and crew requirements
- Track and Monitor KPI's including OTIF score
- Ensure all deliveries have completed POD and any discrepancies are investigated
- Manage current and future fleet to ensure safe, secure & legal
- Ensure drivers are legal and compliant with all drivers hours
- Plan resource for seasonal peaks and new business opportunities

Role Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience within transport & warehouse industry
- Experience using route planning software
- Experience and knowledge of transport legislation
- Ability to liaise with all departments and department managers
- Ability to manage and motivate the team
- Hold a full UK driving licence

Hours or work, Salary and Benefits:
- 21:00-06:00 Monday to Friday, One Saturday in Three with a day off in the week (Friday)
- £35,000 to £38,000 per annum reviewed regularly with potential increases
- 25 Days Holiday plus your Birthday off
- Staff Discount after 3 months
