Are you a patient, motivated, and caring SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs?

Our inclusive and forward-thinking secondary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team.

About the Role – SEN Teaching Assistant

You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to support students with a range of needs, including autism spectrum conditions (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

Your responsibilities will include:

* Providing 1:1 and small group support to students across KS3 and KS4

* Helping to implement strategies outlined in EHCPs

* Supporting students in accessing a broad and engaging curriculum

* Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation

* Contributing to progress reviews and classroom planning

About You – SEN Teaching Assistant

We are looking for someone who is:

* Passionate about supporting young people with SEN

* Calm, compassionate, and adaptable in a busy classroom environment

* Able to build strong, positive relationships with students and staff

* A team player with good communication skills

* Previous experience working in a school or with SEN (preferred, not essential)
