KS2 SEN Teacher – Stockport
Salary: £27,456 – £43,014 | Full Time (40 hours per week)
About the Role
We are recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate KS2 SEN Teacher to join a specialist primary provision supporting pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

Purpose of the Role
To plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse and individual needs of pupils, including those with SEND and trauma histories.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
Adapt teaching using assessment data to monitor progress and inform next steps
Promote pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development through trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning, aligned with school policies
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and specialist staff to provide effective, consistent support
Contribute to EHCP reviews and personalised learning plans
The Successful Candidate Will:
Hold QTS or QTLS
Have proven experience teaching pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviour
Demonstrate strong understanding of curriculum, assessment, and behaviour management within special education
Be able to plan, deliver, and assess effective teaching and learning
Show resilience, empathy, adaptability, and a passion for supporting vulnerable pupils
Be committed to professional conduct, safeguarding, and inclusive practice
