We are currently looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a busy and well-established workshop based in Bury. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay and a friendly working environment.

Qualifications are not essential, but previous experience working on HGVs is required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on HGV vehicles

* Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs

* Performing inspections and servicing to DVSA standards

* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner

* Keeping accurate records of all repairs and maintenance

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an HGV mechanic or technician

* Strong mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Good attention to detail and a proactive approach

* Own tools preferred but not essential
