French Teacher – September Start

Introduction

We are supporting a high-performing and inclusive secondary school in Oxfordshire to recruit a French Teacher for a September start. The school has a strong reputation for academic achievement, excellent behaviour, and a welcoming, community-driven ethos. With excellent facilities and a well-established MFL department, this is an ideal opportunity for a French Teacher looking for a fresh challenge or a supportive environment to complete their ECT years.

Main Responsibilities

Teach French across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for the right candidate)

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback

Contribute to department development and curriculum planning

Support extracurricular opportunities such as trips and clubs

Requirements

QTS (or equivalent) with specialism in French

Ability to teach French up to at least KS4

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Passion for language teaching and cultural learning

ECTs and experienced teachers welcome
