An established manufacturing company based in Aston requires a purchasing administrator.
Duties:
* Chase suppliers via phone and email with a view of satisfying catalogue requirements.
* Update delivery information obtained in ERP System / spreadsheets.
* Manage the placement of Purchase orders through interpretation of stock and demand.
* Source alternative products to satisfy requirements.
* Check all order acknowledgements.
* Look to implement ways of improving supplier performance
* General administration duties as required.
Requirements:
* Good IT skills specifically Excel.
* Experience with MRP/ERP within a purchasing environment.
* General administration experience.
Hours:
* 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4pm Friday. (39 hrs/wk 30 min lunch)
This is a permanent position that starts immediately
