Full Stack Engineer | Remote-first in the UK | Salary Range: £55-65k

My latest client is ensuring that all children across the UK have access to impactful language & linguistics e-resources!

They’re a not-for-profit organisation who care about all children having equal opportunities and access regarding their education. They’re an amazing organisation who reinvest their profits into creating new resources and widening their offering to children!

They’re at stage where they want to bring on a full-time developer to own & progress the technology that underpins the resources that they offer their users.

You’ll be responsible for working across the full stack and have strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript.

My client is looking for someone who shares their passion for improving the lives of children through education and ideally has an interest in languages or linguistics.

What you’ll need

Significant experience working full stack with TypeScript/JavaScript
Proficient at working on a Node.js backend
Strong skills with HTML & CSS (these are the current tools used on the frontend, but the organisation are open to someone with React or Vue.js experience implementing one of those frameworks)
Commercial experience working with AWS
Good understanding of DevOps
Excellent ability to work in a small team where you will wear lots of hats across the stack
The ability to bring intuitive ides to the table in terms of how the company can progress from a technology perspective, whilst considering the best interests of the users
Passionate about education, languages or linguistics
