A highly regarded, award-winning Specialist Contractor focusing on delivering projects across many sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Commercial, Data Centre is currently seeking an ambitious and driven Electrical Construction Manager for a high-profile, major Data Centre Development with an Electrical Package Value of over £100m in London. 
 
Ideally, candidates will have boast experience working as an Electrical Construction Manager on large-scale industrial projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to bolster your resume by working on one of the company’s flagship projects.

Electrical Construction Manager Responsibilities:

Management of all day-to-day site operations
Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and staffing levels. Ensure that there is a weekly minuted meetings with subcontractors.
Ensure direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours are reported to time administrator for tracking centrally.
Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings
Assistance with the close out of all project items including Final Account, O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, Project Plan – all with the support of the site project manager
Ensure your team contributes to the internal weekly progress report rolled up from project supervisors report.
Review the weekly progress report before it is issued to all stakeholders. Highlight areas not available, delays, design issues and third-party delays.
Close out of all project items including Final Account, O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, Project Plan – all with the Support of your Project team.
Record weekly safety stats & project labour projections.
Ensure that there are weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are being captured and costs issued to the client.
Develop and implement company procedures with the package managers 
 
Electrical Construction Manager Requirements:

A trade background and 3 - 5 years previous experience managing large installation projects and sub-contractors.
Proven record of supervising and managing large installation projects
Experienced in design and build
Excellent technical knowledge of Electrical systems
Ability to work well within strict deadlines
