The Gate and Barrier Engineer job itself involves a dynamic range of responsibilities where you will:

Conduct installation, servicing, and maintenance of automated gates, barriers, and turnstiles across various sites.

Proactively address faults and breakdowns, ensuring rapid and safe resolutions.

Perform tasks involving the fixing and rectification of issues related to gates, barriers, and turnstiles.

Respond to reactive call-outs, showcasing your problem-solving skills in real-time.

You will have

To be successful as a Gate and Barrier Engineer, you will have:

At least 1 year of experience working with automated gates and barriers.

A full UK Driving Licence.

Experience with the operation of gates, barriers, and turnstiles;

Familiarity with FAAC, BFT, CAME, and Automation systems is preferred, but training is provided.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Understanding of Health and Safety procedures.

Strong attention to detail, along with exceptional organizational and time management skills.

A DHF Automated gate and barrier training qualification, with a CSCS card being preferred.
