We are seeking an experienced Pre-Contracts Manager to lead pre-contract and bid management efforts for a dynamic and growing team based in North Lanarkshire. Your Role: Driving Strategy, Leading Success
Reporting directly to the Regional Managing Director, you will oversee all pre-contract activities across the region. From managing multi-disciplinary submissions to mentoring a high-performing team of bid authors, you will play a pivotal role in securing successful outcomes and aligning efforts with business strategy.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all pre-contract functions and bid submissions
*
Oversee the preparation of prequalification documents and tender appraisals
*
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and pursue strategic business opportunities
*
Manage and mentor bid authors and subject matter experts across disciplines
*
Continuously refine bid processes using post-submission feedback and data insights
*
Drive innovation in submissions, improving performance and win rates
What You Bring
*
Extensive experience in pre-contract or pre-construction management, ideally within Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors
*
Strong leadership and team management skills
*
Commercially astute with a good understanding of market dynamics in rail and infrastructure
*
Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation abilities

Strategic, results-driven mindset
