About the Role
As a Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
• Teaching general Science at KS3 and your specialism at KS4.
• Delivering engaging, practical, and inquiry-led lessons.
• Monitoring student progress, setting targets, and offering personalised support.
• Participating in curriculum planning and resource development.
• Supporting the wider life of the school through clubs or trips.
• Collaborating closely with colleagues in a strong, team-oriented faculty.
Experience and Qualifications
• Science-related degree (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
• QTS/PGCE with secondary Science specialism
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire curiosity
• Commitment to inclusive, high-quality education for all learners
Salary
Paid to scale – MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
