Salary: £36,000 – £38,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 4:00pm
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are hiring a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client's Aylesbury depot. You’ll play a key role in the safe and timely delivery of equipment and materials, ensuring the company's operations run smoothly and the customers are well-served.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a Class 2 HGV for local and regional deliveries.
Load and unload plant, access, or construction equipment using proper procedures and care.
Ensure all loads are secured and compliant with relevant regulations.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
Maintain accurate delivery and collection records.
Deliver exceptional service and represent the company professionally on site and on the road.

Skills & Qualifications:

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
IPAF Load/Unload licence (essential)
IPAF Operator licence (3a/3b) (essential)
Strong awareness of health & safety standards and load securing practices
Good timekeeping, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
