Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced Science Teacher for a mainstream secondary school based within the Manchester area.

The role will involve teaching Science at both KS3 & KS4 and previous experience teaching at both levels is required. The position will start on 05/01/26 and will continue on a part-time basis until the summer, covering a maternity leave. The working days will be Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Key Requirements:

* Ability to teach Science up to KS4

* A passion for the subject

* Ability to raise standards throughout

* Ability to engage with a varied cohort

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to plan and differentiate lessons accordingly

* Good behaviour management strategies

* Hold right to work in the UK

* Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service

* Hold PGCE with QTS or equivalent

* Available from January on a part-time basis
