Description

The key responsibilities of a Accounts Payable Manager will include, but may not be limited to;

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
Coordinate and complete annual audits.
Meet financial accounting objectives.
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and accountants.Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Manager should have:

Public Sector and Government background.
A degree in Accounting or Finance.
Ability to commute to Manchester.
Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent laws, codes and regulations.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and legislation.
Experience in managing a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
