About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative to join our team, working on social housing properties across Dartford.

You’ll be carrying out a variety of carpentry repairs and maintenance, along with basic multi-trade tasks (e.g., plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, painting) within occupied and void social housing units. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, efficient, and committed to delivering high-quality work on every job.

Key Responsibilities

First and second fix carpentry

Kitchen and door installations

Basic plumbing (e.g., tap and toilet repairs)

Tiling and patch plastering

Painting and decorating

Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance

Providing excellent customer service in tenant-occupied home

Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety requirements

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter or Multi-Trade Operative

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry (preferred)

Experience in social housing or domestic maintenance

Basic skills in other trades (plumbing, tiling, decorating)

Full UK driving licence (essential)

Own tools (power tools provided where required)

Good communication and interpersonal skills
