We are currently recruiting for a reliable, proactive, and skilled School Caretaker to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Location: Redcar
Hours: Mon-Fri, 37.5hrs pw
Contract Type: Temp to perm
Rate: £13.85ph

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the school premises are clean, secure, and well-maintained.
Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks.
Support with setting up rooms for school events and activities.
Monitor heating, lighting, and alarm systems.
Liaise with contractors and report any major issues to management.
Ensure health and safety standards are upheld at all times.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
Good practical skills and a hands-on approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
Enhanced DBS check is essential (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting).
