In this role, the successful Mechanical Engineer or similar will be responsible for the design, delivery, inspection and subsequent maintenance of plant and power processes, integrity, life assessments etc… You will do this from both site and in the field. In addition, you will be responsible for both preparing and supporting the preparation of proposals. On top of this, you will also be responsible for client engagement, offering technical advice as and when needed. Penultimately, you will be responsible for keeping accurate technical documentation of any projects worked. Finally, you will be responsible for ensuring all work meets both health and safety, customer, and company standard.
The ideal Mechanical Engineer or similar will have a background within the Plant/Power industry, having previous working experience in test and inspection of plant integrity and/or life assessments. In addition, you will be happy to travel nationwide, with some international travel involved as and when needed. On top of this, you will have strong communicational, organisational and analytical skills. Penultimately, you will have experience within mechanical Engineering. Finally, you will hold a full, valid UK driver's license.
