HGV Technicians / Workshop Engineers – Whitminster, Gloucestershire (J13, M5)
£24.00 per hour DOE + Overtime | Permanent | Full-Time

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Technicians / Workshop Engineers on behalf of a long-established transport and logistics operation based in Whitminster, Gloucestershire, just off Junction 13 of the M5.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a fleet of commercial vehicles and trailers. The site includes:

MOT Test Lane

*

Fabrication Workshop

*

Tachograph Bay

You’ll work as part of a skilled maintenance team ensuring vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant.

Shift Pattern:

Rolling 2-week shift:

*

Week 1: 05:00 – 14:00

Week 2: 10:00 – 19:00

*

Overtime available at enhanced rates

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience as an HGV Technician, Workshop Engineer, or similar

*

Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) preferred

Strong diagnostic and repair skills

A proactive, reliable, and professional attitude
