Our client is a fast-growing Mechanical Contractor that Manufacture & Install specialist products for a range of highly regulated projects, including Nuclear & Rail and are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee operations within a busy production facility.

Ideal candidates will have experience managing production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, be committed to maintaining safety and quality standards, and demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving and team development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets safely and efficiently.
Drive continuous improvement in quality, cost control, and productivity.
Promote and enforce a strong health and safety culture across all production areas.
Manage and develop a skilled, motivated, and flexible production workforce including 3 x direct reports and 20 x indirect.
Analyse performance data to identify and implement improvement opportunities.Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in Production / Manufacturing Management within a Welding / Fabrication environment.
Strong leadership qualities.
HNC or equivalent in Engineering / Manufacturing discipline is preferred.
Location - Bury
Salary - circa £45k - £50k (dependent on experience)
Permanent - circa 37 hrs per week - (Apply online only) (Mon-Thurs), (Apply online only) (Fri)
