We’re working with a fantastic school in Wakefield that are on the lookout for passionate Science teachers and specialists ready to bring the subject to life. Whether you’re fully qualified, early in your teaching journey, or someone with subject expertise looking to step into the classroom, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Deliver exciting, hands-on lessons that make science stick
Support students to reach their full potential-no matter where they’re starting from
Assess progress and guide next steps (if qualified)
Work with a supportive team who love collaboration
Unqualified? You’ll assist with delivery, not planning—just bring your energy and subject knowledge

We’re Looking For:

✔️ QTS or ECT status-OR subject-specialist experience in Science
Degree or strong background in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or related fields
Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum (KS3/KS4)
‍ Experience teaching, tutoring, coaching or supporting young people
️ Brilliant communication skills and the ability to build strong classroom relationships

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
