As the successful candidate for the IT Support Technician role, you will provide first and second line IT support to students and staff alike, with the goal of resolving technical issues efficiently.
You will operate in a varied technical environment, covering both Microsoft stack and Mac technologies, with a central focus on Office365, as well as Apple hardware including iPads and iPhones.
You will work in a hands-on environment, assisting in managing and maintaining IT hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
Whilst the majority of the role will be support-based, you will have the chance to collaborate with the wider technology team on exciting projects and the implementation of new IT solutions.
You will interact regularly with end users, delivering user training sessions and creating instructional guides as needed.
The role will be site based, so you will be flexible to travel to the Worcester site 5 days per week.Profile
As the successful candidate for the IT Support Technician role, you will have at least 1 years experience in some of the following technologies:
Windows 10 and/or 11
Office365
Apple Mac (iPad / iMac basic troubleshooting)
TCP/IP, LAN/WAN
Knowledge of basic server management.
In addition, you will also have:
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
A customer-focused attitude with excellent communication abilities.
A willingness to learn and stay updated on emerging technologies.Job Offer
A starting salary of approximately £22,000 to £26,000 per annum, depending on experience.
