Are you a passionate historian with a flair for bringing the past to life in the classroom? We are working in partnership with a well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Tamworth, seeking an enthusiastic and committed History Teacher to cover a maternity leave starting September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive Humanities department in a school that prides itself on its inclusive ethos and strong sense of community. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply and will be fully supported throughout the placement.

We’re seeking a teacher who:

Holds QTS (or will obtain it by July 2025)

Can teach History confidently at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience welcome but not required)

Has a strong subject knowledge and a passion for engaging young minds
