Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting enthusiastic, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Oxford.
The Role:
We are looking for SEN TAs to support students with a range of needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. You will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support individual students on a 1:1 or small group basis, both inside and outside the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs
Promote inclusion and encourage independence
Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews where necessary
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals
Create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (formal or informal)
Calm, caring and resilient with a proactive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for helping young people reach their potential
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
