Job Role: SEN Sports and PE Coach

Salary: £25,992.00 - £28,163.00 FTE

Here at Aspire People, we are on the lookout for an SEN Sports and PE Coach to join a fantastic SEN school located on the outskirts of Northamptonshire.

This specialist school supports over 200 pupils aged 4 to 18 with a wide range of needs, including profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD), moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and complex learning challenges. Many pupils also have additional needs such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN).Recent school achievements include winning SEND School of the Year, Headteacher of the Year, and overall School of the Year at the Northamptonshire Education Awards 2022.

About You
We are looking for a Sports & PE Coach to deliver and manage a coordinated programme of high-quality, professional coaching. The programme will be progressive, tailored to pupil needs, and aimed at increasing participation in physical education and school sports while supporting the physical development of all pupils.

This role will involve coaching a variety of physical activities as part of the school's PE, physical development, and sport curriculum. The programme will also help to build links with the wider community, providing more opportunities for pupils to engage in sport and physical activity beyond the classroom.

You will be:
* Positive and passionate about working with students with learning disabilities
* A good or outstanding practitioner with experience of supporting young people with SEN and Additional Needs
* Knowledgeable about a variety of learning needs of students with a range of barriers to overcome
* Enthusiastic and passionate and sports and PE
