Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their small team within the accounts department. This role will be processing the purchase ledger, some sales ledger, and possibly credit control support to the existing team. This Finance Assistant role provides an excellent chance to work in a varied role, in a great team, and in comfortable, bright offices. This role will be using a bespoke system to enter information; training will be given, and also be the opportunity to progress into other facets of finance.
Job Description:
Inputting Invoices accurately into the system, matching them with Purchase orders
Setting up new customer accounts
Reconciling statements
Dealing with queries
Supporting the team with Sales ledger and possibly some credit control
General Administrative duties – photocopying, scanning, etc Person specification:
Previous experience in the purchase ledger and other accounts functions
Strong team player
Good communication skills
MS Office experience
General office admin experience Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Salary: £25,000 Per Annum
