An ambitious and welcoming primary school in Suffolk is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced practitioners and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to teach in a supportive, forward-thinking environment that values high standards, creativity, and inclusion.

The Role
You will lead a Year 5 class, delivering high-quality, engaging lessons while supporting pupils through an important year in upper Key Stage 2. The role includes opportunities to contribute to subject leadership, curriculum innovation, and wider school life.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative, challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
*
Foster a safe, inclusive classroom culture with high expectations for behaviour and achievement
*
Track and assess pupil progress effectively to inform teaching
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support school development
*
Build strong partnerships with parents and carers to support pupil outcomes
What We’re Looking For
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
A sound understanding of Key Stage 2 curriculum and pedagogy
*
Previous Year 5 experience is desirable, but not essential
*
A reflective and proactive practitioner with strong communication skills
*
A genuine passion for helping children thrive both academically and personally
