EMBS Engineering is working collaboratively with a precision engineering company located in Nottinghamshire that is a specialist in the machining and fabrication of small to medium-complex components for a variety of lucrative industry sectors, including: Aerospace, Automotive, Sub Sea, Defence just to name a few.

* Shifts: Days
* Monday - Thursday 7 am - 4 pm, Friday 7 am – 12 pm
* Overtime is available at premium rates
Your responsibilities include:
* Working with various metals and using a variety of techniques such as riveting, spot welding, bonding, and brazing to complete required components
* Using a wide range of methods, such as hand forming, grinding, and stretching, for the construction of each part
* Working to tight tolerances using thin-gauge materials such as aluminium
* Reading and working off complex engineering drawings
Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:
* Previous Sheet Metal background
* Experience working with thin-gauge sheet metal (0.8mm - 1.5mm)
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Ability to use hand and air tools effectively & safely
* Previous experience in deburring, fettling, polishing, linishing etc
* Previous experience TIG welding is a desirable
