Start Date: January
Day Rate: £110-£125 (depending on experience)
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated High Level Teaching Assistant to join our newly opened Alternate SEN Primary Provision in Chertsey, Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing provision from the outset and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.
The Role:
Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) within a primary setting
Delivering learning activities and interventions under the guidance of teaching staff
Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and wider professionals
Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience working with SEN pupils (essential)
Confident supporting learning across the primary curriculum
Able to manage behaviour positively and consistently
HLTA qualification (desirable but not essential)
Committed, flexible, and passionate about inclusive education
