My client is a well established nationwide business and due to continued growth they are now looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the team.
Responsibilities will include:
* Assist within accounts payable, from invoice entry to statement reconciliation.
* Assist within accounts receivable, reconciliation of customer payments to system data investigating variances and report findings.
* Monitor and reconcile bank accounts in several currencies.
* Verifying financial documentation in connection with expense reports.
* Develop current reconciliation templates to streamline allocation process if required.
* Support with year-end financial audit
* Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as required.
Skills and experience
* Previous Experience in high volume transactional entry and reconciliation
* Knowledge of accounting principles and basic bookkeeping.
* Excel skills
* Sage experience
