Create and manage the weekly production schedule
Main Purpose and Scope of Job
* Monitor production progress and revise schedules to accommodate changes in demand, supply delays or equipment downtime.
* Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of ingredients
* Work closely with the Production Managers to optimise and improve weekly schedule to support customer requirements
* Liaise daily with internal departments
* Ensure high customer service levels are maintained
* Ensure stock list is up to date
* Conduct continuous improvement
Skills Required
* Previous experience of production planning
* Good understanding of food manufacturing process
* Familiarity with capacity planning and scheduling
* Accuracy, attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
* Good excel skills
* Knowledge of SAP desirable but essential
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised with the ability to priority tasks
* Ability to manage deadlines
