SEN English Teacher - Northampton

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a experienced and enthusiastic SEN English Teachers to join welcoming SEN schools in Northampton. This is a rewarding opportunity to support secondary-aged students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.

The Role:

As a SEN English Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver creative, differentiated English lessons
Support pupils working significantly below age-related expectations
Collaborate with support staff, SENCOs, and therapists
Monitor progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
Foster confidence, independence, and a love of learningThis role suits a confident educator who believes in personalised, inclusive education and can manage behaviour effectively with empathy and consistency.

Requirements:

QTS/QTLS or equivalent (Essential)
SEN or SEMH teaching experience (Desirable)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
An understanding of individual learning needs
