Project Manager - Major Supermarket Refurbishment & Fit-Out Projects

? Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (Permanent)

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading retail fit-out contractor, delivering refurbishment and fit-out projects across one of the UK's top four supermarket chains. Projects will include both large-format retail stores and smaller convenience outlets.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong retail background who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the demands of delivering works within live trading stores.

The Role

Lead and manage refurbishment and fit-out schemes for a major national supermarket client, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the client's exacting standards.

Oversee multiple sites as a visiting PM or take ownership of a specific scheme.

Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure seamless communication and efficient project delivery.

Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality, and compliance throughout each project.

About You

Essential: Proven experience delivering refurbishment or fit-out projects for a major supermarket or blue-chip retail client.

Strong background in retail construction, ideally with exposure to large-scale grocery or convenience store environments.

Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and fast-track programmes.

Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites across the Midlands and North East.

Based in the Midlands or North East - candidates from London or the North West unfortunately won't be suitable due to travel demands.
