Alumni Relations & Events Manager
Salary: £35,000–£37,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Alumni Relations & Events Manager to play a key role in engaging a global alumni community and supporting a wider development and fundraising program.

This is a varied, hands-on role requiring excellent event management skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and a proactive, service-oriented approach.

The Role
Reporting to the Development Director, you will:

Manage and deliver a full program of alumni engagement, donor cultivation and stewardship events
Lead events from concept to completion, including budgets, risk assessments, logistics and post-event evaluation
Support and enhance alumni engagement initiatives and benefits
Work closely with alumni volunteers, including committees and councils
Maintain accurate records and uphold high standards of data protection and confidentiality
Represent the Development Office internally and externally as required
The role involves regular evening and weekend work and some travel.

About You
You will bring:

Proven experience planning and delivering successful events
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior and external audiences
The ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and accurately
A strong alignment with the ethos and values of an educational or membership-based organisation
Experience in alumni relations, higher education, charity or use of CRM systems (such as Raiser’s Edge) is desirable but not essential.
