Class 1 HGV Drivers – Christmas Peak (Fowler Welch, Washington)

Velocity is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV drivers to support Fowler Welch through the busy Christmas period. 

Shifts & Schedule

Working Thursday to Monday

We have shifts available AM, PM.

Minimum 11 hours per shift, guaranteed shifts

Delivering to RDC's 

Pay Rates

DayRates 

Mon–Fri (first 8 hours)
£14.73/hr

Mon–Fri (after 8 hours)
£18.45/hr

Saturday
£19.45/hr (all hours)

Sunday
£22.83/hr (all hours)

Example earnings: Based on a 12-hour shift, Thursday–Monday = approx. £1,146 per week

Job Details

Delivering refrigerated goods to RDCs

Collecting produce from food production sites

Must complete a driving assessment and 1-day paid induction (£117.84–£147.30)

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 1 years

Minimum 6 months’ driving experience

Maximum 6 points for minor offences

No DD/DR/IN endorsements

Start: Immediate — work available through the festive season, with potential to continue into the new year
