Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting an experienced Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming and well-supported primary school in Haslingden. This is a full-time position starting in January 2026, running until Easter.

Contract Type: Full-time, temporary contract
Daily Rate: £168.80 – £215.68 per day

About the Year 4 Teacher Role:

* Deliver engaging and thought provoking music lessons aligned to the National Curriculum

* Plan and prepare high-quality lessons tailored to a range of abilities

* Promote critical thinking, tolerance, and cultural understanding

* Support student progress through effective assessment and feedback

* Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

* Behaviour management and classroom organisation

* Contribute to wider school activities and departmental development

The ideal Year 4 Teacher will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Have recent experience teaching lower KS2.

Possess strong behaviour management and classroom presence

*

Be flexible, proactive, and confident working both independently and as part of a team

Be committed to supporting all learners and raising achievement
