Goods In Inspector - Based in Aylesbury – Full time
Looking for candidates that have a current forklift licence and experience of moving goods/supplies around a workshop/manufacturing environment, Also experience of using callipers, Gauges, Micrometres for measuring/checking materials and the ability to read engineering drawings.
Paying up to £28,000 p/a doe.
The role
Our client is looking for an organised individual to work within the Production (Stores/Goods In) team on site, as a Goods In Inspector.
Required hours of work will be 37.50 hours/week, made up of either
Mon – Fri, 06:00 14:00hrs
Mon – Thurs 08:00 – 16:30, Fri 08:00 – 14:00hrs
Essential
* A strong work ethic and positive attitude with good attention to detail.
* The ability to:
* Solve problems,
* Work under pressure,
* Prioritise.
* Must be able to work under your own initiative, but also to work as part of a team.
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
* Computer literacy.
* Key skills required
* An active FLT license.
* A proven track record of inspection work.
* Competency in using various metrology equipment such as vernier callipers, height gauges, micrometres, etc.
* A good understanding of Engineering drawings.
Responsibilities
* Working in accordance with the Internal Quality Management system.
* Carrying out the final inspection and packing of various pieces of equipment and material.
* Completing and signing the work tickets and applicable quality assurance plans for the completed tasks as instructed.
* Carrying out the inspection and booking in of raw materials and goods using the internal ERP system.
* Contributing to the achievement of business objectives and targets.
* Maintaining strict confidentiality on all matters relating to company business.
* Ensuring adherence to company procedures.
* Consistently demonstrating company cultures and values.
