A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a person to join a team to shape the safety practices of cutting-edge products. This role involves integrating hazard analysis and safety evaluation processes with the system engineering process to ensure product safety.

You must come from an engineering background / discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have:

• Expertise in hazard analysis and safety evaluation processes
• Experience delivering Safety Case Reports and supporting information (e.g., Hazard Analysis, FTA, etc.)
• Application of UK and international safety and system engineering standards, particularly Def Stan 00-056
• Knowledge of complex electronic systems and safety issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Understanding of balancing safety against cost and time constraints in complex systems
