Remuneration: £35,000 - £45,000

The role of the Buyer – Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:

* Buyer position dealing with a high quality range of roofing and cladding systems

* Supporting; planning, scheduling, procurement, and completion of projects

* Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

* Liaise with project managers and design teams to ensure smooth project execution

* Facilitate effective communication between project teams and stakeholders

* Place material orders in line with project requirements and delivery dates

* Organise plant hire, delivery, and collection, including crane lifts as required

* Working on projects ranging in value up to £7m

The ideal applicant will be a Buyer – Roofing & Cladding Systems with:

* Must have 2+ years Buyer experience within the construction / building industry OR have Sales experience within the roofing & cladding industry,

* Ideally familiar with roofing systems, cladding or facades

* High levels of organisation with the ability to manage diary

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* IT literate (Microsoft Office)

* Logical thinker, strong numerical background, problem solver

* Ability to work autonomously
