We are recruiting for a leading Generator Servicing business based in the South of England. This role is key to our clients planned expansion. If you are looking to join an expanding business in a varied role that is servicing customer sites, then look no further.

The Person:

* Apprentice Trained (NVQ 2 or 3).

* 3 Years generator experience.

* Knowledge of engines, alternators, control panels and wiring diagrams.

* Diagnostic and leadership skills able to work in a team or alone.

* Great customer facing skills.

The Role:

* You will be required to work both in a workshop and site environment

* Be able to do mechanical and electrical fault finding

* Repair and service of generators

* Repair and service of associated equipment

* Investigate, diagnose and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment

* Service equipment both on and off site

* Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems

* Complete paperwork and time-sheets in a timely manner

* Good customer service skills

* Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers

* Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment

* Ensure work/personal equipment complies with all safety standards

* This role would suit a Generator Engineer, Generator Service Engineer, HGV Technician, Diesel Engineer or Mobile HGV Technician.

This role is hourly paid, between £17ph and £19ph with overtime at time + half. There is added benefits to this position including Death in Service, Westfield health plan, increasing holiday entitlement with service and a generous pension scheme.
