A well-established and highly regarded bespoke joinery manufacturer is seeking a skilled Joinery CAD Technician to join their design team. The company delivers high-end residential and commercial Joinery producing exceptional, made-to-measure joinery with an emphasis on quality, craftsmanship, and precision.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Joinery CAD technician with strong technical drawing skills and a background in bespoke joinery to be part of a collaborative and experienced team.

Role Summary

The Joinery CAD Technician will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings for the manufacture and installation of bespoke joinery items. This includes bespoke Joinery, cabinetry, doors, bars and other custom interior elements.

Key Responsibilities

Produce accurate 2D CAD drawings and setting-out details for bespoke joinery.

Translate architectural and design drawings into workshop-ready technical plans.

*

Work closely with project managers, designers, and the production team to ensure clarity and accuracy.

*

Conduct or interpret site surveys to inform accurate drawing work.

*

Revise and update drawings throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining accurate records.

*

Ensure that all drawings meet required technical standards and project specifications.

Key Requirements

*

Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D joinery drawing.

*

Solid understanding of bespoke joinery construction and materials.

*

Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.

*

Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy.

*

Strong organisational and time management skills.

*

Experience producing setting-out drawings for workshop use in a joinery or cabinet-making environment.

Desirable Skills

*

Previous experience in a high-end or bespoke joinery setting.

*

Familiarity with materials, hardware, and finishes used in premium interior joinery
