Empowering Learning are recruiting a proven leader to undertake the role for a temporary Head of dept for English at a large secondary school in the South of Oxfordshire

The successful candidate will have a desire to improve student standards and want to share their own creative ideas and experience, and lead by example.

The school is located in the South of Oxfordshire and is roughly an equal drive to Oxford and Reading.

You will ideally have at least 2 years head of dept experience or have several years experience teaching English and at least some leadership experience,

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting.
Who wants to help schools and students alike, to achieve their goals
Is confident in managing groups of students across various year groups and subjects.
Holds QTS or degree with several years experience in a teaching setting.
