Quality Engineer – Oldham | £40,000 - £45,000 + Excellent Pension

Location: Oldham

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Benefits: Excellent pension (5% employee / 10% employer)

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer with a background in engineering and manufacturing? We’re working with a well-established engineering business in Oldham looking to add a Quality Engineer to their team.

The Role

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring product quality across all departments, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients. Your work will involve reviewing quality, welding, and NDE procedures, maintaining compliance records, and supporting continuous improvement of the Quality and Business Management Systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

Producing accurate, well-presented quality documentation

Compiling and reviewing Quality, Welding, and NDE procedures

Liaising with clients through all stages of manufacturing

Supporting internal departments with contract compliance

Maintaining lifetime records and QA surveillance

Assisting with continuous improvement in quality, health & safety, and environmental systems

What We’re Looking For

3+ years in a manufacturing environment

Experience in mechanical engineering and quality assurance

Background in fabrication and machining preferred

HNC qualified or similar experience

A self-motivated team player with a "right first time" mindset
