Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Start Date: Immediate
⏰ Hours: Full-time (Part-time considered)
Contract: Long-term with potential for permanent role
✨ Key Responsibilities:
Supporting children with a range of special educational needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language difficulties)
Working 1:1 or with small groups under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
Helping to implement individual learning plans (ILPs) and behaviour support plans
Supporting pupils in the classroom, during activities and transitions
Promoting an inclusive and safe learning environment
✅ You Will Need:
Experience supporting children with SEN (in a school or care setting)
A calm, empathetic and consistent approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
