We are currently recruiting for a very exciting and fulfilling position, strategically managing a beautiful restaurant on an outstanding Resort in Dunoon! The role will see you working and taking full ownership of a stunning venue set within beautiful surroundings. This is a great opportunity for a forward-thinking person, wanting and able to have a direct impact in shaping one of the F&B offerings of this resort.
 
This is a position truly not to be missed…. You will also be required to manage, train, and develop team members and work within budgeted guidelines.  
 
Main duties and responsibilities

Ensuring that food and beverage areas set up for the day’s business
Ensuring that staff are briefed and directed accordingly
Helping to come up with new ideas and run events within the facility.
Helping to train the staff to quality first class standards
Working closely with the company to design menus to fit with the growth of the resort.
Ensuring that Food and Beverage rooms are cleared at the end of each event
Handle guest complaints, requests and enquiries in a relaxed yet professional manner
Help create a safe environment for both staff and guests and adhere to the company’s health and safety policy and procedures Key Skills and Experience

Will have experience as a Restaurant Manager within a guest focused environment
Will be passionate about F&B service
Will have an excellent eye for detail   Responsibilities

Manage the restaurant and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
Design exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements
Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all their concerns
Lead the restaurant team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies, and procedures.
Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork.
Comply with all health and safety regulations.
Report on management regarding sales results and productivity
Flexible working hours including some late evenings , weekends and Bank Holidays.
